Goal & Core Values
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN EDUCATED PERSON IN THE 21ST CENTURY
The goal of TFSCS is that each student become an enthusiastic learner for a lifetime and therefore, a life long learner. An educated person in the 21st Century will have a large arsenal of knowledge to draw upon for successes in a highly competitive, educated, technical and sophisticated society. Core knowledge in the subjects of language arts, math, science, social studies, geography, and history, is essential. However, such knowledge must be coupled with an appreciation for their environment and performing arts. This combined knowledge allows individuals to work cooperatively and understand and respect people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. An educated person, to his/her fullest potential will become a selfmotivated, competent and productive citizen in the global economy of the 21st Century.
Central to the way we conduct education are three core values:
Focus on Instruction, Partnerships, and Continuous, Ongoing Improvement!
